Regatta TPEO range

Description :
High quality solvent refined paraffinic oil and selected additives for the lubrication of marine engines.

Application :
Crankcase oil for medium/high speed trunk piston engines operating on distillate fuels, and sometimes cylinder oil in crosshead diesel engines operating on distillate fuels. Regatta TPEO 312 and 412 are SAE 30 and SAE 40 engine oils with TBN 12 mg KOH/g, suitable for use with fuels up to 1% sulphur. Similarly Regatta TPEO 330 and 430 apply when burning fuel up to maximum 2% sulphur, while Regatta TPEO 340 and 440 are indicated in case of even higher fuel sulphur.

Regatta SL range

Description :
Alkaline type detergent lubricating oil for use in the crankcase systems of slow speed high-output crosshead marine diesel engines, particularly engines with oil cooled pistons.

Application :
Regatta SL oils are designed for moderate crankcase duty in slow speed high-output crosshead marine diesel engines. Crankcase oil for trunk piston engines under moderate service operating on low sulphur distillate fuel.

Regatta CL range

Description :
Superior quality, very high alkaline oil for the cylinder lubrication of slow speed cross head marine diesel engines running on heavy residual type fuels.

Application :
Marine oil designed for cylinder lubrication.  Formulated to meet the requirements of a wide range of engines under a variety of operating conditions.

S.T.O. range

Description :
The S.T.O. range is based on high quality base oils to which specific additives have been added to get an high resistance against oxidation. They show very little foam behaviour and excellent air separating properties.

Application :
The S.T.O. range is being applied as system and control oil in steam turbines, but can also be used in some certain lightly loaded gas turbines. The oil is also suitable for high speed gear oil transmissions being lubricated by the turbine oil system.

W.T.O. range

Description :
The W.T.O. range is based on high quality base oils to which specific additives have been added to get an high resistance against oxidation. They show very little foam behaviour and excellent air separating properties.

Application :
The W.T.O. range is being applied as system and control oil in water turbines. The oil has to fulfil a number of functions:
- lubrication of the rotor bearings
- lubrication of the variable pitch blades
- lubrication of the transmissions gears
- lubrications of the auxiliary equipment like locks etc.
- hydraulic controls of the shift mechanisms, control devices and auxiliary equipment.

This year as well, Sunoco is prominently present as sponsor in the Belgian GT Championship.

The JD competition team competes with two Lamborghini Gallardo and last year made history as they finished a 24 hours race for the first time with these cars , and even ended 6th. The update of this online tool contains:
• An update of the basic database with the latest brand/types and the different series of the machinery.

As a result the online Oil Recommendation program can generate 893.502 product recommendations. Of those recommendations Petronas can offer 870.101 recommendations with a Sunoco branded product. This means we can offer in 97,38% of all recommendations the good Sunoco product!
